Marrok was a mysterious former Jedi Knight who survived Order 66 and became an Inquisitor serving the Galactic Empire. Little is definitively known about Marrok's past prior to joining the Inquisitorius. His identity was deliberately shrouded in secrecy, adding to the intimidating presence he projected.

Marrok wielded a double-bladed lightsaber and possessed skill in combat, evidenced by his confrontations with Ahsoka Tano and other Force-sensitive individuals. He served the Grand Inquisitor and Darth Vader, tasked with hunting down Jedi survivors and other enemies of the Empire.

During the events of the Ahsoka series, Marrok was revealed to be a puppet, his actions controlled by Morgan Elsbeth's Nightsister magic. He ultimately met his demise when Ahsoka Tano severed his connection to the dark magic, effectively deactivating and destroying him. Prior to his death, some fans believed he might be someone from Star Wars lore, such as Starkiller or Ezra Bridger.
